A Different Kind of Busy

Now that Kate is older, the girls are doing much more together, which makes some things much easier for Mommy.  I'm not saying things are a walk in the park around here (because these two are like two tornados racing through our house), but at least we're in somewhat the same phases of life now.
Coloring Together
Going to see the cows at the barn. The girls love it! And Kate thinks all the baby calves are puppies since my parents have a chocolate lab. Its very funny to hear her shout out, "Hey Puppies!" while waving. And Kate loves to pet the Mama cows, but Caroline is still hesitant :)

Trips to the mall to get a cookie and ride the cars and train.
Talking to either GaGa and PaPa or RaRa and TT on Skype is one of our daily activities. We usually talk to RaRa in the mornings and one time when TT gets home from work. And we talk to GaGa and PaPa around dinner time. We're very thankful for technology!!!!
PaPa's iPhone apps are the newest methods of entertainment these days, especially "Wheels on the Bus" and "Talking Kitty" as Caroline calls them. He just holds his phone up to the computer. The Kitty app actually repeats everything the girls say, and they think its hilarious.
GaGa and PaPa came to visit this weekend and unfortunately this is the ONLY picture I took. That is probably because this was the only moment of the weekend that the girls were still enough to get a decent picture (playing with PaPa's iphone again). And also because their visit was unfortunately short this time.  But I must say that I have the best parents ever!!!! They weren't able to get to Auburn until late Friday night because my Dad had to work all day. And then they kept the girls Saturday while Chris and I went to tailgate and cheer on the Tigers! When we got home from the game, the girls were feed, bathed, and in bed. Plus, the house was picked up, the laundry was done, and my mom had even hemmed one of Caroline's dresses for me. And then they had to leave Sunday morning (its a 6 hour car ride) at 6am so my mom could get back for work on time. Plus, that only leaves them with today (Monday) to get ready/pack for their two week business trip to Europe because they leave tomorrow morning, bright and early. See....I told you they are the best!!! Thanks Mom and Dad! We can't wait to come see you in a couple weeks.

And Kate has been staying plenty busy while Caroline is at school. She has started going to a Mommy and Me Tumbling class on Thursday mornings and LOVES it! Since Kate has NO fear and loves to climb, this is right up her alley. Plus, her bib sister takes gymnastics and she wants to be just like Sissy. Sorry all the pictures below are sideways and poor quality. I got them off my phone and I couldn't figure out how to rotate them.

Needless to say, we're busy, but we're all busy doing the same things now (or at least until February).
