Fish Field Trip

At the last minute, we decided to go to a park to have a picnic lunch and feed the fish with our friends! It was so pretty outside and the kids enjoyed the wide open spaces.
My friend Ginger and I laughed because from afar it probably looked like were taking a class on a field trip!!! 7 kids under 4!!!
Watching the fish and turtles eat our bread!!!
Molly and Graham hanging out!!!

Calli Ann and Caroline
Beckwith and Kate

Aubie and the Cheerleaders

The girls had Spirit Day at school last week and so we wore our Auburn attire of course!!
I had planned on Caroline wearing her cheerleading outfit, but when she woke up she was determined to wear the Aubie dress. She is all about a dress these days...better to twirl in she claims!!! Ha! So the Aubie dress she wore!!

Today was a double whammy for Kate (hence the face)...going to school in general and also her fear of Aubie!
But we finally got her to smile!!!!! And Kate was very excited to wear the cheerleading outfit when sissy decided not to. :)
WAR EAGLE!!!
(After picking the girls up from school, I asked them both about seeing Aubie and the cheerleaders. Both replied, "I like the cheerleaders, but not Aubie. He scary!" Ha! Better luck next year...or the next...or the next!

Sitting

Molly is officially sitting!! She actually started a couple weeks ago, but Mommy is a little behind on posts.

Molly 7 months old.

"C" is for Cow

A couple weeks ago, Caroline's class was learning the letter "C" while also doing a farm unit. And each Thursday, her teachers have the kids bring something to "share" that starts with the letter they are learning. It just so happened that a baby calf had been born at the barn on the Wednesday before, so Daddy brought it to school for the three year old classes to see.
Sweet baby calf...all 125 lbs of him, and only 16 hours old.

An attempt as a class picture with the calf. Ha!

Thank you to our Daddy for making today so special!!

Molly's Baptism

When you're the third born, rarely is there a day that is dedicated to you. But this past Sunday, it was all about Molly Jones Northcutt. And an absolute honor to stand with her, in front of our church family, and dedicate her to the Lord, while promising to raise her in a Godly home. Thank you Lord for entrusting us with one of your precious children!! And thank you to all of our family for being there on her special day!
Obviously it is hard to get a picture where everyone is looking at the camera! Oh well. We were all showered, dressed, and on time, which is huge for us!!!
The gown Molly is wearing was worn by both Caroline and Kate. And each girl has her own bonnet.

You are so loved Molly!!!

Family Reunion

Last Wednesday, Kara and Tony were HOME!!! Home as in the United States and so my family all met at the lake for an extra long weekend! None of us had seen Kara and Tony since last Christmas, so this was a much anticipated trip and we cherished every moment!!! The trip was made even more special because both sets of my grandparents were able to join us as well. We took many boat rides, tubed, went water skiing, ate lots of food, played many games of Hearts, watched football, and ate some more!!! All 15 of us in one house!!!
Caroline with her Great-grandma Iz and Great-grandpa Hugh
Kate with her Great-grandma Betty and Great-grandpa Buzz
With one of her most favorite people in the whole world...Aunt RaRa!!!!
 Getting the fishing poles ready!
 One of many boat rides!!!

Being on the lake is my Grandpa Buzz's heaven on earth. My grandparents lived on a lake my whole childhood. Sitting out on the dock...early in the morning...fishing with him are some of my greatest memories!!! I loved seeing how happy this trip made him.
I'm getting your poles ready for next year Grandpa!!!
PaPa, GG Hugh and GG Iz watching Caroline and Kate swim! This set of my grandparents have watched hours and hours of my sister, brother and I swim at their backyard pool when I was growing up. I can't tell you how many times they heard me say, "watch this" as I did another new trick off their diving board when I was little. So, watching them watch Caroline and Kate swim and jump off the dock was so special!!!
At only 7 months, you can already tell Molly has a special spot in her heart for Uncle TT!
And a family reunion wouldn't be complete without Lei-Lei! The girls got in lots of dress up time including pedicures from Lei Lei and RaRa!
 Tony and Kara tubing

Mommy, Caroline and Kara tubing!! We finally got her to be brave enough to wave at the camera!!
Tony, showing off his water skiing skills!
And Matt couldn't be out done.
More pictures of our family reunion to come!!! As I type this, I am sitting at the lake again, and its way too quiet and not near as fun!!! I'm wishing you were all still here and I was once again killing you all in a game of Hearts! Ha!!!!!
We love you all!!! Come back!!!!
