Their First Trip Down the Aisle

Last Saturday, the girls and I were a part of a wedding for some sweet friends! It was such an honor to stand their with Ashley and Ryan, and so special to stand with them on their special day with two of my daughters. Watching them come down the aisle to the song "Edelweiss" literally brought tears to my eyes. As a mother, I look at weddings totally different now than before. Before I always paid more attention to the dresses, the flowers, etc. Now, I can't make it through a wedding without getting teary eyed...praying for my girls and the little boy they may one day marry. And instead of only watching the faces of the bride and the groom as the bride walks down the aisle, now I watch the mother of the bride too. Because one day I will stand there, three times possibly, and I pray I will be watching a girl that has faithfully and patiently waited on the Lord as she walks toward her "prince"- what Caroline calls the groom.

After  the girls received their Mademoiselle dolls (in wedding gowns) from Miss Ashley at the rehearsal. It was such a sweet gift and something the girls will treasure forever.

Anna just had a sweet baby boy 4 weeks ago....doesn't she look GREAT!!!! Amazing.

(her two girls were in the wedding too, so it was extra special for them all to walk down together)
And we can't forget the Daddy and the Molly Bear!

Hey Alyssa!
I found your blog a while back through Casey Carter's, and I've enjoyed reading about your sweet family ever since. Your girls are beautiful! Maybe we should go ahead and arrange some marriages. :) I've got PLENTY for them to choose from. Take care!
