Caroline has been taking swimming lessons at the university for the past ten days. This was her first non "mommy and me" swimming experience, so we were anxious to see how it would go. There was some tears the first night, but afer getting over her fear of mommy not being in the pool with her (and some bribery), so started to really enjoy it!
Waiting outside for her turn. Each session was 30 minutes.
Even Molly (and Daddy) came to watch a couple times. :)
You can't see her well behind the glass window, but she's smiling! A good sign!!!!
Shivering after each class! Waiting for mommy to towel her off.
Tonight was her last night and we are very proud of her for completing the session...and with a smile.
Getting ready to go in for our last lesson. Kate came to watch every night, since she decided not to actually partake. :) Oh well, we'll try next year!
The girls with their sweet friend Sarah, who we also take gymnastics with so the familiar face helped!
The group...two girls, and two boys.
Swimming on the ramp.
Practicing bubble blowing.
And kicking.
Of course on the last night of swimming, Kate decides she wants to go swimming too. Yes, she is actually trying to take off her clothes to get in the pool. Ha!
Listening to their teacher.
Sweet Miss Austin. She was so encouraging, giving lots of hugs and high fives.
Yea for swimming!!!! We look forward to many more days at the pool this summer!!!
