Have LAID back weekend...literally!

Molly 11 weeks.
Look at those rolls. We love it!

Mrs. Whitney

Yesterday, my sweet friend and old roommate Whitney, came to meet Molly. She is a wonderful friend. Luckily, two of the three were napping for part of the time, so I could enjoy catching up with her. As you can see, the girls got a chance to have fun with her too.

Silly Kate wouldn't be in the picture unless she could wear a bucket on her head. And since I make my children take a million pictures a week, I've had to get over the fact that every picture can't have perfectly posed and smiling children.
Caroline as Rapunzel! We definitely gave Mrs. Whitney a good dose of what its like to have girls. She has a sweet sweet boy named Miller, who I'm sure has never desired to own a princess dress.
Thank you for coming to see us Mrs. Whitney and for being such a good sport!

The Funny Things They Say

Caroline and Kate are at the age now where funny things are said EVERY DAY. I wish I was better at writing them down. Here are the latest comments:

Me: Caroline, what do you want to be when you grow up?
Caroline: A Mommy
Me: Caroline, what do you think Kate will be?
Caroline: A Daddy

Lately Kate has been asking to say her "pwayers" (prayers) before her naps each day too. So, after I said a prayer today she said, "Kate pwayers now". This is what she prayed:
"Dear Jesus, thank you for day, thank you for GaGa, thank you for PaPa, thank you for Byron's and thank you for hotdogs." Ha! So Sweet and straight from her heart.
(For those of you not from Auburn, Byron's is  bbq restaurant that our family eats at regularly. Ha!)

Easter 2011

Caroline's school Easter egg hunt.

 Caroline with her friend Lucy.
With friends Thomas and William.

Then after naptime we headed over to the Lewis' home for another egg hunt. They had the perfect yard for a hunt with lots of hiding places.
Caroline is learning how to do lots of things one handed at an early age. She is always carrying a baby.

Look at all those professional egg hunters!!!

Then on Saturday we created a water park in the back yard by pulling out the slip and slide, and two baby pools. We spent the WHOLE day outside, including lunch and dinner!

Even Molly spent the day outside, chilling in her bouncy seat with a slight breeze from a fan.
Sisters having a serious conversation. :)
 Taking a breather.
Eating some lunch! Peanut butter sandwiches, grapes and an Icee from Sam's. I know...so nutritious!
Oh well.

After nap time on Saturday, we dyed our eggs. Daddy is always in charge of this activity!

Once the kiddos were all in bed, the Easter Bunny hopped to it!
 Sunday morning!
 The backyard hunt!
Kate won the prize for quantity this year....
And Caroline won the prize for quality....she checked every egg to see if it had something inside worth collecting. Ha! Sampling some of the candy along the way.

Caroline found the golden egg this year!
Molly hung out on a blanket during the festivities!

For lunch Sunday, we went to Grandaddy and Weezie's house.
The Easter Bunny left some treats at Weezie and Grandaddy's house for the girls too, their favorite being a new book... "PINKALICIOUS"!

Molly snoozed during lunch and the egg hunting. This child lives in her car seat...bless her heart.

Another egg hunt, but still has a baby in tow.

"Look I see one" is what Kate said 100 times.

And here's my attempt at getting a picture of the two older girls. Ha!
But I guess it wouldn't be true holiday picture shoot, without the drama.

Until next year....

Parties

Last Thursday I was able to take cupcakes to Caroline's class for her birthday. It was so sweet to see all her sweet little friends sing happy birthday to her. She said that even "Alfredo" (her music teacher's puppet) sang to her. I think this was her favorite day of school yet!

 Blowing out their candles.
As good as it gets....3 out of five looking at the camera!
Happy Birthday to our big 2 year and 3 year olds!!!
