Making funny faces with Aunt Sarah!
With Weezie, Aunt Sarah and Mrs. April.
Mrs. April has been doing Sarah's hair every year that Sarah has attended the dance and I have enjoyed coming to help watch the getting ready process for 6 years now. It was so neat to have Mrs. April come over for Caroline's first year too. Now that we have three girls, with LOTS OF HAIR, I am hoping I can hire Mrs. April to come help us for many Daddy-Daughter Dances to come.
The corsage! So teeny-tiny!
And my favorite picture of the night!!! Caroline is so blessed to have been able to attend her FIRST Daddy-Daughter Dance with her Grandaddy and Aunt Sarah for their LAST (of ten years) Daddy Daughter Dances. What fun!
Chris said Caroline looked like she had hit the jack pot when they arrived at the dance. She spotted the candy station, the cupcakes, and all the people dancing to the DJ and couldn't wait to join in. From the huge smile her face, the the completely wrinkled dress, and the singing of "Whoop There It Is" when she walked in the door, I could tell that Caroline had a blast and danced the WHOLE night. And I have to give Daddy some major credit because I could tell he danced the entire time as well, and we had literally gotten home from the hospital with baby Molly hours before heading to the dance. I know he had to have been exhausted, but wore his dancing shoes proudly! He's got about 13 more years of Daddy Daughter Dances in his future now!!
