Outside
Caroline and I enjoyed fudge pops outside yesterday. Choosing to go outside was definitely a good idea considering that only half of the fudge got in her mouth!
Covered in fudge pop! Next time we'll start off in her "birthday suit"!
Simply rinsing our hands turned into this!
Which led to this!
And ultimately this! She did not want to go back inside!
(Don't worry, Kate wasn't being neglected. She was napping inside.)
Mommy and Me
Caroline and I have been taking "Mommy and Me" swim lessons for the past two weeks. We are going to our last lesson tomorrow night. Caroline has "learned" (or attempted to learn) how to blow bubbles, jump in from the side, kick on her back and front, and go completely under. Whether she actually learned anything or not, we had a great time! And Daddy and Kate got to watch the other night.

Nigh Nigh
Right before the girls' bed time, Chris gives Kate her bottle. Normally, Caroline and I play on the floor in Kate's room, but lately Caroline has started crawling up into the glider with them. Heaven forbid Kate get more attention than her! Ha!
Toes
Kate always has her hands and fingers in her mouth. Now that she has found her toes, she tries to get those in there too!
Tank-Coo
"Tank-Coo" (Thank you) is Caroline's newest word (phrase). But, the funny thing is, she only says it when she hands you something instead of when she is receiving something. I think it's because that is what I say when I'm handing her something in hopes that she will do that same. One day it will click!
Giggle Box
Kate got so tickeled last night while Chris was changing her diaper. Had to get it on camera!
Family Dinners
Everyone knows how wonderful (not to mention helpful) it is to have family in town. Now if I can just get my side of the family to move here!!! Hint! Hint!

First Airplane Ride
Caroline and Kate had their first airplane ride last weekend. We all travelled to my cousin's wedding in Wisconsin. It was so nice to see all the cousins (on my mom's side) and see their children (some for the first time). So far, Caroline and Kate have three girl cousins, and it was so cute to see them all interact for the first time (5 girls under the age of 4). I only wish we saw them all more often!
Caroline loved watching the planes land and take off!
Leighton, Matt and Caroline
The highlight of the trip was watching Caroline on the dance floor. She would have danced all night if we would have let her. The first song of the night just so happened to be "Sweet Caroline"!
A picture with the great grandparents!
All the girls!
The Grand-Son-in-Laws with Grandma Betty!
We'll get that picture next time Shannon!!
Kate had Uncle Tony wrapped around her finger the whole weekend!
It was so good to see you Zach and Ty!!!
My Grandparents (married 62 years) with Mr. and Mrs. Jay Christensen! Congrats!!!

Random
Kate loves her new ability to roll over and see her big sister right side up. And Caroline is very proud of her little sister when she rolls over. She waves her arms, laughs and then walks over to give Kate a kiss every time.
The girls' version of sharing the bouncey seat: Caroline sitting on top of Kate and in OVER half of the bouncey seat while Kate sits there helplessly. Poor Kate!
Rolling Over!
Kate has learned how to roll over!!! I wanted to post this for all of you out of towners!!! Enjoy! (Sorry about the terrible commentating, just turn down the volume.)

4th of July Recap
Caroline had such a good time at Grandma and Grandpa's house! I think she got the royal treatment! Hopefully she won't mind her little sister joining her next year!(We may have to do seperate trips Grandma and Grandpa!)
When we got there, Caroline and Grandpa were riding up on the golf cart. Caroline got out and started coming straight for us, which made us feel so good. HOWEVER...she bypassed both Chris and I and went straight for Kate saying, "Hey Sissy, Hey Sissy!" Oh well, I'm glad she loves her sister!
Here are some pictures of our wonderful weekend with the WHOLE family.
At the Golf Cart Parade!
Caroline LOVED the beach this year! It was weird to look at Kate, and realize that Caroline was lying under the tent (clueless of where she was) just one year ago. She kept running for the ocean this year and even wandered up to another lady's towel (a complete stanger) and sat there (on her towel) playing in the sand for atleast 10 minutes. I don't think you'll be reading and relaxing next year either Uncle Tony. You'll have two that want to play!!
Good Luck on your new job Leighton! We'll see you soon!!
Thank you Grandma and Grandpa for everything!
