This is huge. Two Posts in two days. Today Caroline had her first doctor's visit. She did okay with the PKU shot, but the shot in the leg was a bit tramatic. Thank you to Holly for telling us to have a bottle ready. It did wonders! And to quote Dr. Smalley after weighing our now 10lb. 12 oz baby girl (yes, we were shocked too), "Well, you can tell Caroline is never late to the dinner table". Remember, she was born at 7 lbs. 13 oz., so she has gained 3 lbs in 5 weeks! WHOA! Atleast we know she's a healthy little girl!
After a tramatic morning at the doctor's office, we met our sweet friends: Mrs. Jennifer and William for lunch. William was so sweet to Caroline and kept wanting to hold her hand. I told William that him and Caroline could definitely be "eating buddies" because they both love their food.
I also wanted to share some pictures from a couple days ago. Caroline made her first debut at Beauregard Elementary. We went back to see my class and my sweet friends who I miss dearly.

I'm so glad the doctor's office went as well as it could have!! I can't take credit for the bottle trick -- I'm sure I stole it from someone I badgered with questions!!! So glad she is gaining. She'll be sleeping through the night in NO time! If Kirkley's nose ever stops running, they will finally get to meet! Until then, Kirkley is so excited to see all of the posts! :)
Sorry William kept patting her head...I think he really liked her beautiful hair. (They might be "hair cut buddies," too!) She is so precious!!!

Not sure I should admit this for the entire world to see... But I weighed 10 lbs 5.5 oz when I was born :) I was a very "healthy" baby!!!
