Grandparent's Day

Today was Grandparent's Day at Caroline's school. She was so excited to get in the car with Weezie.

Bath Time with Daddy

We (especially Mommy) are very lucky to have Daddy as our official bath giver. A lot of nights are a quick scrub down because we're late on starting the bedtime routine, but on all other nights, bath time is "water EVERYWHERE, bath toys EVERYWHERE, bubbles EVERYWHERE" fun! Good thing Daddy is in charge of bath time, because Mommy doesn't have enough energy to be "fun" at that point in the day. Last night Chris came into the kitchen and said, "Give us 1 minute, and then come into the bathroom." And when I got there, this is what I found...
Two girls with bubble mustaches and bubble beards.
But Kate kept sticking out her tongue to feel the bubbles and didn't really care for the taste.

So, she gave Daddy one instead.

Kate went with the "cone head" look instead.

Jack-O-Lantern Lane

Saturday morning, we went to the cutest pumpkin patch! We had the perfect weather too!

We started with a hayride to the pumpkin patch.

Then we were on the search for some pumpkins.

We brought home three pumpkins!

They had a barn with cows, horses, and bunnies. The girls thought the bunnies were so cute!
Kate would actually hold squeeze one, but Caroline decided just to watch.

Daddy was totally in his element. He loved the barn!

Then it was off to the inflatables!

And a ride on Thomas the train.
And right when it was starting to get warmer outside, we enjoyed some homemade ice cream!

We will definitely be going back next year!!!

Another Downtown Block Party

Last Friday, we attended another block party in downtown Auburn.  We saw so many friends and lots of family!
 Dancing with cousin Calleigh.
DJ Oz handed out orange and blue glow necklaces to all the kids and Kate was completely fascinated by them.
But by the end of the night, both girls (and Mommy) found a seat and "people watched" for the rest of the evening!
