We missed her so much, but know that the time she spent at Ra Ra and TT's was very special and full of non-stop fun! I'm so thankful that Caroline and Kate have aunts and uncles that love them as much as they do!!! I can hardly wait to have that special bond with my own nieces or nephews one day.
Here is Caroline coming in to see Daddy and Sissy after her trip!
Sorry the video is cut off on the right side. I'm not sure how to fix that. Advice welcome!! :)

Kate-9 months
Kate turned 9 months old about a week ago, so we headed to the doctor for our 9 month well visit. This is always a fairly pleasant visit because no shots (except for the fact that Kate's mean mommy made her get the other half of her H1N1 shot). And for all you interested grandparents and great grandparents out there, here are the stats:
Weight: 20lbs 8oz (80th percentile)
Height: 29 6/8 in (95 percentile)
Head Circumfernce: 18 in (95 percentile)
I normally don't list head circumference, but I laughed so hard when they measured her..TWICE. First the nurse measured her, and then our sweet doctor wanted to re-measure because the measurement was so close to being off the charts! Ha!!! Let's just hope there is a big brain in there too!!!
Sorry this picture is so bad! It was taken with my phone. Just thought it would partly explain the high measurements! Shoveling in mashed potatoes with a spoon!! Ha! Look how she is holding the spoon.
Also, Kate is still cruising around the furniture, but no walking yet!

At RaRa and TT's
For the rest of the week, Caroline is living in "RaRa and TT Land". And according to Caroline, this is the best place on earth!! It's the place where powdered doughnuts are considered a balanced meal!
When I pulled up to drop Caroline off, she couldn't get into Aunt RaRa's car fast enough.
I asked her if I could have a hug and kiss good-bye and she just leaned in, patted me on the shoulder, gave me a quick smooch, and said, "Bye Bye Mama" as if I was only slowing her down.
We know she'll have the best time. Thank you RaRa and TT!

A Big Weekend
I can't believe that the girls are both less than three months shy of their birthdays!
Caroline is now 21 months an Kate is 9 months.
Here is our weekend is review:
It started with a visit from our friend Mrs. Mary.
And lots of hide and go seek. (Notice Caroline under the crib.)
"Gotcha Caroline!"
And decided she likes real people food rather than baby food.
Who can blaim her!
Who can blaim her!
Here she is devouring black -eyed peas.
Oh, and check out the mark under her left eye. Kate had a fight with the stairs (just two steps) and the stairs won! I wish I could say she learned her lesson, but she keeps going back for more.
And a banana! And the list goes on... pizza, pancakes, green beans, cooked carrots, mashed potatoes, cheese, hashbrown casserole, and more! All since Friday!! I think there is no going back to baby food now that she's tasted the good stuff! :)
Then it was off to the wedding for Aunt Stacy and the newest addition to the fam... Uncle Neil!
We are extremely happy for the both of them.
All the Northcutt Boys with Paw!

(bottom row): Chad, Hunter, Justin, and Bradley
And the weekend had a perfect ending because I got to be with two of my college roomates and best friends. Anna (left) came in town to celebrate Corye's little girl, Clarke, arriving in February. Even though we don't get to see each other as often as I would like, we always pick up right where we left off.
I love them so much!
Hope you had a great weekend too!
