A Blessed Week

Along with the rest of Auburn, we had a busy, but VERY blessed week.

Kate was Christened at our church last Sunday. And we were extremely blessed to have all of our family there as we dedicated her to the Lord.

On Friday we cheered on the Tigers from the house since kick off was the same time as nap time.

And on Saturday, after breakfast at Byron's, we were off to pick out of family Christmas Tree.

Kate's first Christmas Tree!

Bows are not an optional accessory in our family. They are a necessity! Otherwise we can't see. :)

Ho Ho Ho

Just as she did with Aubie Claus, Caroline liked "Anta" (Santa) better from a far.
We went from this...

to this.....

to this....

Kate on the other hand was very interested in grabbing a hand full of Santa's beard (and getting a candy cane).

She's Back!

Caroline is back home! She has been at GaGa and PaPa's house since Sunday and got home last night. She got out of the car and ran screaming down the hall to Kate's room saying, "Sissy! Sissy! Sissy!" And then she acknowledged Mommy and Daddy. Ha! Saying she had the best time, is an understatement.

OH how we have missed this little drama queen!

Back to playing with Sissy! And even though I know Kate is only 7 months old, I really believe that she has missed her sister. Kate has been much more needy and clingy since Caroline left and I think it's because she is use to Caroline entertaining her all the time.

Aubie Claus

We had two completely different reactions to Aubie Claus! Obviously Kate is too young to really know whose lap she was sitting on. Caroline on the other hand was very excited all the way up to the point where Chris sat her in Aubie's lap. We think she thought he was a giant stuffed animal, and when he moved his arm to hold on to her, she got upset. This weekend we go to see Santa ...we're crossing our fingers!

Here's Katy Bug and Aubie Claus. She's so pleased with herself!!
(At this point, Caroline was smilng again, but liked her view of Aubie from about ten feet away.)

Seven Months

Kate turned seven months yesterday! Time has flown!

Kate wants to be like her big sister so  badly! She tries to keep up with her all day long!
