The Lake

Good thing we brought Caroline's bathing suit because we had only been at the lake for a couple minutes before she was walking toward the water. Again...NO FEAR!!! Sweet Mrs. Allison got in the water with Caroline since neither of us had our bathing suits. Thank you Karlee for sharing your mommy with us!

Caroline even had her first boat ride. And to top it off...Mr. Chip let her "drive" the boat. She had so much fun!!!

Our Little Fish

To say Caroline LOVED her first pool experience, would be an understatement. She had a blast! She had absolutely no fear of the water (which is a little scary to me) and would completely dunk her head in the pool. I think we will be spending lots and lots of days at the pool in our future.

And this is what poor little Kate did the whole time. Hopefully next summer she'll be swimming along with her big sister.

Sweet Friends

Our sweet friend Calli Ann came to play while her mommy ran a quick errand. As you can tell, a good time was had! We love you Calli Ann!

Nana and Paw Paw

Kate and Caroline enjoyed a visit from another set of Great Grandparents this weekend. I only wish the girls were a little older and could realize how blessed they are to have ALL FIVE sets of Great Grandparents in their lives! Thank you for coming to see us Nana and Paw Paw!

Mommy's Helper

Doing the Laundry!

Bumps and Bruises

Caroline has decided to try walking. She had taken her first two steps before Kate was born and then waited until now to take more. She thinks it's so funny when she does it and grins from ear to ear. I will try to post some video footage of it soon if I can catch it. Until then, I'll post the bumps and bruises we get during her attempts. Yesterday she got a little too brave and busted her lip. I'm sure it is the first of many. Had to take a picture for the scrapbook once the tears stopped!

Sisters Gotta Hug

Caroline loves her "Sissy". She crawls up to Kate, lays her head on her belly, and says "Hey Sissy". We are still working on being gentle with sister. Caroline sees us burping Kate and wants to help, only she doesn't realize you can't burp her on the nose. :)

Almost 6 Weeks Old

Kate had her one month doctor's appointment this past week. She weighs 11 lbs. and is now 23 1/2 inches long. She has started to coo, smile, and giggle a lot. She loves her paci and likes to sleep on her belly.

1st Trip to Jacksonville

We decided to surprise my mom for Mother's Day and travel to Jacksonville with the girls. It was Kate's first trip. All in all, the girls did well thanks to Miss Patty Cake, lots of M&M's, and paci's. Luckily we got to see both sets of Great Grandparents, Matt and Leighton, and several family friends. Chris and I even got to enjoy a day at the golf tournament and a dinner date (just the two of us). It was wonderful! THANK YOU GRANDMA AND GRANDPA!!!

A mouth full of M&M's. You'll do anything to keep a child happy in the car!!!

Playing at the Park

My mom and I took Caroline to the park to swing and go down the slide. She absolutely loved it and didn't want to leave. Kate enjoyed lying in her stroller under a tree while we played.
