Our "Mini" Mouse

Aunt Kara, we hope you enjoy these pictures more than Caroline enjoyed posing for them. HA! HA! I think she was overwhelmed by all the fun costumes!! Or it could be that her Mommy takes too many pictures. :)

Happy Happy Happy

There are lots of things to be happy about. First of all, we love the cool weather. It is starting to feel like the holiday season is near! This is my favorite time of year. I think I have eaten soup for dinner four out of the last seven nights. One of which was tonight at Chris' parents house. The Chicken and Dumplings were wonderful Weezie!! Also, I love trying to think of the perfect Christmas gift for each member of my family. Especially if I can think of something unique, personal, or even better...homemade. I love a craft!!

Secondly, Caroline is reaching the fun age of 7 months this Thursday. She laughs a lot now and makes the funniest facial expressions. She is making more distinct noises now and LOVES LOVES LOVES her Johnny Jumper! We're still not crawling, but everyone keeps telling me to enjoy the stillness!

And lastly, my camera is fixed! HOORAY! I thought it was the battery, but after charging it all day, I realized it was something else. FYI for all you digital camera users out there. You have to format your memory cards!!! I guess I should have known this, but the sweet man at Camera Graphics explained to me that deleting your pictures one by one is really bad for your camera. Many of you may know this, but in case you didn't...after you are done taking pictures of an event, upload them to your computer, and then format the card (meaning all pictures will delete from your memory card at one time). In order to format your memory card, you need to press the "menu" option on your camera, then go to the "tools" icon and scroll down to "format". I have been deleting pictures one by one as I have needed more space, but this is a "no-no" according to the professionals. My camera kept saying "ERR 02" for error, but now we're fixed and ready to shoot. Hope this makes sense and helped at least one picture taker out there! Stay warm!!!

We Love Our Memaw!

Although she will have to go back this afternoon, we were blessed by a home visit today for Memaw! It was so comforting to see her at home with most of the clan there to greet her. Memaw is the "Mother Hen" of the whole Northcutt clan and we love that she keeps us all in line!! Caroline enjoyed seeing her Memaw too! She showed Memaw all her new tricks and even got to play with her cousin Alli Ann. We can't wait until Memaw comes home for good, but for now, we are thankful for the short visits!!! Please continue to keep our sweet Memaw in your prayers!!!

A Box

Forget toys...Caroline was entertained by a diaper box for 30 minutes? Who would have thought it was that simple?

First Big Girl Bath

Caroline had so much fun in the tub! She splashed and splashed until we made her get out. I think the baby pool is going to be a hit next summer. :)

Four Legged Friends

I was washing dishes in my kicthen this morning, and all of a sudden I see two sweet friends come strolling up in our yard. It's not the same two baby deer I saw a couples weeks ago, but still beautiful creatures! I grabbed my camera for you Grandpa Williams, but when I went out there, they heard my flash, saw me hold up my camera and TOOK OFF! I mean they flew, so I only got the tail end of one of them in my shot. Bless their hearts, they probably thought my camera was a gun. And once again...Caroline was napping, so she missed them again. :)

Visits

This past weekend we were visited by Aunt Kara, Uncle Tony, and Uncle Matt. We had a great time and they were shocked to see how much Caroline has grown. We miss you already...please come back soon. Caroline woke up this morning wondering where all her fun aunts and uncles had gone to.

And following a fun visit from family, we had a not so fun visit to the doctor's office for Caroline's 6 month appointment. We love our pediatrician and our sweet nurse, and Caroline got the biggest kick out of the white paper draped across the table...HOWEVER...she had to get 4 routine shots. We also went ahead and got the flu shot too. Caroline topped the charts once again in weight and height!! At 19 lbs 7oz. and 27 7/8 inches long, she is in the 95th percentile for both. Check out the rolls! :)
